Mtn have launched their new value added service called “Mtn Afrinolly”. This is aimed at integrating the Nollywood market with the vast number of Nigerians who use Mtn services. It enables mobile phone subscribers to access the latest and current information on the ...African movie entertainment, music, videos, comedy, movie trailers, amongst others. The platform is available for Nokia, Blackberry and Android phones. You can read entertainment news, track celebrities, gossip, listen to music and share it with your friends on Facebook or Twitter.
For you to have access to this service you must navigate to www.afrinolly.com where you can download the application. After downloading it, install in your phone and you are ready to access all the juicy stuff available there. The main menu interface of the afrinolly application has a section for Movies, Celebrities, Musical Videos, Yello Centre, News, Community.
The Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, MTN Nigeria, Mr. Larry Annetts, said the service would enable users to read entertainment news and gossip, track celebrities, listen to music and share it with their friends on Facebook and Twitter. With this new development, I am sure other network providers will soon follow suit. This will help us to get the best out of our mobile phones after all a phone is not meant for only calls.
